Date: February 2-3, 2010
Place: Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience Berlin (BCCNB)
Computational studies of brain function often require methodological competence from fields as diverse as theoretical computer science, information theory, communication technology, signal and image processing, control, machine learning, probability theory, statistics, estimation theory, optimization or theoretical physics. The goal of the workshop is to bring together researchers from the machine learning and the computational neuroscience communities in both Germany and Korea to discuss current research activities and initiate collaborations in which techniques and concepts from machine learning are applied to computational neuroscience.
